My name is Bill Daniel and I want to be your next City Council Member. I'm a life-long resident of San Diego. I grew up in North Park, and recently moved to the College area. I am a public school teacher and have worked for the San Diego Unified School District for 23 years. I've served on campaigns for several local candidates for public office.
I've always enjoyed attending church and have taught Sunday School in every church I attended.
Having grown up in San Diego, I have watched it mature into one of America's greatest cities.Though not all those changes of progress turned out for the best, nevertheless, I have witnessed San Diegans pull together to bring out the good in every situation. I love the spirit of the people of San Diego!
One of my favorite pastimes is to hike in the Cuyamaca Mountains. I have come to deeply appreciate the outdoor attractions in District 7 ; Cowles Mountain and Mission Trails Regional Park are two of San Diego's most beautiful treasures. I've hiked to the summit of Cowles Mountain many times - the view is astounding!
Whether in Cuyamaca or Mission Trails, San Diego is one of the most beautiful places in our country. I am committed to preserving that beauty for all of us and for our children and grandchildren.
When you elect me as your City Council Member for District 7, you are electing a no-nonsense man who will do what it takes to finish our public works projects; to preserve our spectacular environment; and to make District 7 the best district in San Diego in which to raise our children and grandchildren.
It's time for fresh eyes and a new perspective. On Election Day, vote for Bill Daniel for District 7.
